Family & Care-provider Education
At IDS, we believe that our families and care providers are critical members of our team. As such, we include education and training in therapeutic sessions, as well as individual parent training sessions. Family education can be provided in a variety of ways including classroom-based instruction, role playing, direct skill instruction and natural environment feedback. We strive to provide individualized, evidence-based instruction that is specifically tailored to the unique values, goals and personal preferences of each family. Maximum results are achieved when every member of a team is able to successfully utilize the same strategies and interventions with confidence and consistency
