Charna Mintz, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Charna began her career in 1996 as a special educator for public schools in Georgia and later Nevada, providing instruction in self-contained classrooms for children with a variety of developmental disabilities. She received her masters in psychology in 2001 and her Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Nevada, Reno. Since graduating she has served as the chief behavior analyst for an adult residential center in Nashville, TN and provided extensive school based consultation in New York. Most recently she spent 18 months developing center-based services for young children with autism in Perth, Australia. She is committed to and passionate about providing positive behavior intervention and instruction to children and support and education to families and educators. She is well versed in curriculum development, implementation and on-going assessment; a variety of instructional methodologies (e.g., discrete trial instruction, errorless teaching, direct instruction, etc.); functional assessment, analysis, and behavior intervention plan development, implementation and analysis; application of current research findings and best practices; and the overall improvement of existing systems utilizing empirically validated methodology.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Mahin Para-Cremer, M.Ed., BCBA
Mahin joined the IDS team in September of 2016 as a Lead Clinician and accepted the Director of Operations position in April of 2017. She is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mahin began her career in Human Services working with both adults with intellectual disabilities and young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in 1994 while earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology, and Human Development and Family Life at the University of Kansas. Mahin continued to work in various leadership capacities, including managing adult residential programs, supported apartments and adult foster care settings, while earning her Masters in Special Education. She has worked on both operations and clinical sides of service provision and her area of interests are in staff training and development, parent training, and ensuring high quality of care and treatment outcomes. Mahin has worked as a clinician within clinics, schools, residential treatment centers, treatment foster care and in-home services to assist children and youth in achieving their treatment goals.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Kc has been with Integrated Development Services for over 16 years. When she first started with IDS she worked directly with clients as well as in Human Resources. While working at IDS, Kc has been inspired by the kindness, dedication and respect that she believes to be the core traits of IDS employees. Prior to joining IDS, Kc worked in Restaurant and Hotel Management. She has always enjoyed working with people and being involved in the career growth and development of employees. Kc studied English Literature at Edgewood College and loves to read.
Kristen has been with IDS since 2010. She began her career at IDS as a BT, working directly with children with autism. It is here that she discovered her love and passion for helping children learn and gain new skills. Kristen continued to grow with the company and became an ABT, helping to support the teams, working primarily in family’s homes. In 2014, Kristen accepted the role of Intake Coordinator, combining her passion for supporting children and their families and her interest in management and operation systems. In her current position, she remains connected to the families that we serve by overseeing the start of services for all new clients and helping families navigate the world of funding. Kristen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology.
Melissa began her career at IDS in June of 2017. She began working as a Receptionist, supporting our Lead Clinicians, Leadership Staff, and Intake Department. It is here where she found her passion for helping and connecting with families by supporting them through the steps of their Intake Process. Her love for Intake grew very quickly, and she accepted the position of Referral Specialist in July of 2018. In her new role, Melissa furthers her work in Intake by working closely with our Intake Coordinator in overseeing the beginning stages of the Intake Process with new clients, all while building relationships with new families. Melissa graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville in 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Skyla started at IDS in January of 2018. She completed her Bachelors in Communications and her Master’s Degree in Business Management at Cardinal Stritch University. Prior to joining IDS, Skyla has previously worked in customer service, and banking where she has gained experience in recruitment and human resources. She is a people person, and loves the role of human resources to help promote career goals for employees.
Katie started her career IDS in 2010 as a Behavioral Technician while completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at Cardinal Stritch University in 2016. She continued on to become an Advanced Behavioral Technician where she provided support and 1:1 services for many clients throughout the Madison area. During this time, she learned from a team of dedicated clinicians about quality ABA services and Autism Spectrum Disorders and there she found her passion to combine her Business Management degree and service to the families of IDS. In 2017, she accepted the position as Recruiting Specialist where she helps others find their start in a new career.
